Om dere tar en tur innom er det fint om alle skriver i gjesteboka og om observasjoner.

The LoFF house is now open for the season! Stop by to see this beautiful house that is open to everyone.
If you stop by, it would be nice if everyone wrote in the guestbook and about observations.
The Loff House in Svalbard, or "observation house", is a place for bird watching and observation in Longyearbyen, located at the mouth of the Advent River. The house is open and accessible to both residents and visitors, and has large windows that provide a good view of the fjord and Adventdalen.

What are Birdlife Svalbard and LoFF?
LoFF (Longyearbyen Field Biology Association) and Birdlife Svalbard are one and the same organization. In October 2006, LoFF was established after having been close to “birth” several times before that. The association is open to all those interested in field biology. The driving force is the ornithological group, which is the most active, but there is also a botanical group. The association wants to be a meeting place for permanent residents and others who have a connection to Svalbard. LoFF collaborates closely with the environmental protection department of the Governor of Svalbard and with the Norwegian Polar Institute (NP).
